The main objective of the MIS Unit is to collect, analyze and manage information to support the development, management and implementation of policies, programmes and services in the Local Government Service.

The Budget Unit is responsible for:
Preparation of budget;
Provision of technical guidance to Management on budgetary matters;
Establishing database for financial planning and resource mobilization;
Updates financial records of all projects.
The objectives of the Development Planning Unit are to:
Lead in strategic planning, efficient integration and implementation of public policies and programmes to achieving sustainable economic growth and development;
The Administrative Unit oversees strategic management and supervision of all support services and activities to enable departments, units and agencies provide reliable services at the LGSS, RCCs and MMDAs.
The objectives of Transport Department are to:
Prepare transport budget and monitor daily use of vehicles;
Advise senior management on the status of obsolete vehicles;
Implement transport policies and services; and
The objectives of the Estate Management Unit are to:
Formulate and implement estate management policies;
Advises on all estate management issues and policies; and
Prepares and updates records on the organization’s properties and assets.

Mr. Adusei Poku Emmanuel is a Social Development Officer at the Bekwai Municipal Assembly. He has a Barchelor of Business Administration in Marketing and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour.
The Bekwai Municipal Assembly is among the 43 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the Ashanti Region. The Municipal Assembly is the highest political and administrative body of the Municipal and exercises deliberative, legislative and executive functions. The Municipality was established under Legislative Instrument (L.I. 1906, 2007).
