Mr. Petro Philemon Ankorle is the Municipal Coordinating Director of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly and a senior officer of the Local Government Service. In line with the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), he serves as the administrative and coordinating head of the Assembly and the chief advisor to the Municipal Chief Executive on administrative and technical matters.
He is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Assembly, coordination and supervision of the Departments, and the effective implementation of government policies, programmes, and decisions of the Assembly, while providing leadership in human resource management, financial administration, and development coordination to promote efficient service delivery and accountable local governance within the Bekwai Municipality.
