The Bekwai Municipal Assembly has donated a total of 80 bags of cement to support developmental projects in five electoral areas within the municipality. The beneficiary areas include Bedomase, Nkyekyeam, Mensase, Asamang, and Abesewa.
A brief handing-over ceremony was held on Thursday, 24th April 2025, at the premises of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly. Representing the Assembly, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Ms. Sheila Rosetta Arthur, officially handed over the items on behalf of the Assembly.
In her remarks, Ms. Arthur noted that the donation was financed through the Assembly's Internally Generated Funds (IGF), emphasizing the Assembly’s continued commitment to supporting local development through IGF-backed initiatives.
Receiving the items on behalf of the five electoral areas, Hon. Anin John Kwabena, Assembly Member for the Asamang Electoral Area, expressed gratitude to the Assembly for the generous support. He commended the Assembly's dedication to fostering community development across the municipality.
