In response to observed gaps in administrative knowledge among school leaders, the Inspectorate Unit recently organized a refresher training for headteachers. During routine monitoring, the unit noted that some headteachers displayed limited familiarity with essential administrative tools, including proper bookkeeping and school monitoring procedures.
To address this, the Inspectorate Unit conducted orientation sessions on 23rd and 25th January 2024, organized in two cohorts. A total of 142 headteachers participated in the training, gaining insights and practical guidance aimed at strengthening school administration and management practices.
The initiative reflects the Inspectorate Unit’s commitment to continuous professional development for school leaders, ensuring effective school management and improved educational outcomes.
