The Bekwai Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 23rd December, 2025, held its End-of-Year Staff Durbar at the Bekwai Municipal Assembly Hall.
The durbar was attended by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Salifu Issaka; the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Ms. Sheila Rosetta Arthur; and all staff of the Assembly.
The programme commenced with opening remarks by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Ms. Sheila Rosetta Arthur, who welcomed staff and highlighted the importance of reflection and teamwork as the year came to a close.
In his address, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Salifu Issaka, spoke extensively on the Assembly’s achievements during the year, the challenges encountered in the discharge of duties, and key areas requiring improvement. He commended staff for their dedication and hard work and encouraged them to renew their commitment to professionalism, efficiency, and service delivery in the coming year.
The programme was brought to a close with a prayer said by the Municipal Director of Agriculture, Mr. Emmanuel Mensah.
The End-of-Year Staff Durbar provided an opportunity for management and staff to reflect on the year’s performance, strengthen unity, and chart a positive course for the year ahead.
