On the 18th of August 2020, the Hon. Member of Parliament and Hon. MCE of Bekwai cut sod for construction of propose K.G block for Gyasikrom and Dadeasecommunity. The project is from government GETFUND and and it is expected to be completed within six months.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Bekwai Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour on Thursday, 5th September 2019 cut sod for construction of 3 unit classroom blocks with auxiliary facilities at Akyeremade and Sarfokrom.
