TRAINING ON INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

On Tuesday, 6th December, 2022 the staff of Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit of Bekwai Municipal Assembly were trained on infection prevention and control at the Bekwai Community ICT Center Conference Room. Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) is an essential component of healthcare quality and patient safety.

Participants were trained on how and why Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) occur and how IPC reduces their risk and spread.
