SUMMONS TO A MEETING OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE

The Presiding Member (PM) of Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA) on Wednesday, 15th March, 2023 summoned all members of the Public Relations and Complaints Committee (PRCC) to a meeting at the Municipal Assembly Conference Room. This is subsequent to a petition received by the Committee on the activities of the Mining Taskforce on matters relating to improper accountability and not ensuring the reclamation of mining sites.

In attendance were the Hon. Assembly Members for the mining areas, the Municipal Police Commander, the Municipal NADMO Officer, the Municipal Environmental Health Officer, the Deputy Director (Desk Officer in-charge of mining activities) and the Municipal Revenue Superintendent.
