On the 18th of August 2020, the Hon. Member of Parliament and Hon. MCE of Bekwai cut sod for construction of propose K.G block for Gyasikrom and Dadeasecommunity. The project is from government GETFUND and and it is expected to be completed within six months. The new propose KG Block will be equipped with dual desk in each class.
Performing the official sod cutting ceremony at the school premises on Tuesday 18th August 2020, the Hon. MP said the construction of the KG Block at Gyasikrom and Dadease has become very necessary at Municipality and the entire community.
Speaking on the guideling the Hon.MP called on the parents to support their children to achieve their success after completion of the KG Block. He gave advise to the youth who will be empoy for the construction of classroom block to work hard and do away with laziness. Then also he also cautioned the residents of the town not to steal of the contractor.
The Municipal Education Director Madam Lucy Ama Ankra on her part thanked the government and Hon. MP for the kind gesture. She said that if the contractor complete the KG Block within the timeline then the kids will start school to cast some burdens from the parents.
On his part, the Chief of the two said community assured the contractor of their support that their community will collaborate with him to complete the project with stipulated period.
The contractor therefore assured the Hon MP and everybody in the community that the project will be completed on schedule.
