The Hon. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA) Mr. Kwaku Kyei Baffour on Tuesday, 21st February 2023 presented livelihood empowerment items to some citizens in the Bekwai Municipality. This short event occurred at the premises of the Municipal Assembly.
The items included Welding Machines, Mechanic Tools and Personal Protective Equipment.
At the gathering, the MCE urged the beneficiaries to put the items to good use in order to obtain economic gains to earn a living.
He further encouraged them to uphold good maintenance culture as they use the machines for their economic benefit.
Finally, he expressed his profound gratitude to Young Africa Works a subsidiary of Mastercard Foundation for their immense support in obtaining the items presented to the beneficiaries.
