INTER SCHOOL SPORTING COMPETITION

The Municipal Inter School Sporting Competition for basic schools was organized from Tuesday 7th to Monday 10th June, 2022 in all the ten circuits in the Municipality. Events undertaken included; Soccer, Volley Ball, Hand Ball and Net Ball. Koniyaw Methodist Primary emerged winner for the primary school category to represent the Municipal for the Under-13 at the regional competition. For the JHS category, best players from the competed school were selected for the under 15 competition.

The Municipal Assembly is the highest political and administrative body of the Municipal and exercises deliberative, legislative and executive functions.
