Bekwai, Ghana – November 7, 2025 – Educators across the Bekwai Municipality came together this week to celebrate the National Professional Development (IPD) Day, a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing teaching skills and equipping teachers with the latest knowledge in educational technology.
The Bekwai Municipal Assembly organized a training session on Local Government Service (LGS) protocols, covering Leave, Performance Management System, and the Client Service Manual, on Thursday, 6th November 2025, at the Assembly Hall.
The Bekwai Community ICT Center (CIC), in collaboration with the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), Bekwai Branch, successfully conducted a five-day training for service personnel of the 2024/2025 service year, as their term of service comes to an end.

The Municipal Assembly is the highest political and administrative body of the Municipal and exercises deliberative, legislative and executive functions. The Municipality was established under Legislative Instrument (L.I. 1906, 2007).
