On Friday, 28th October, 2022 the Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA) hosted three districts for the presentation of 2023-2026 Composite Budget at the Bekwai Methodist Church Conference Hall.
Participants of the gathering included the District Chief Executives, District Coordinating Directors, Budget Analysts and Heads of Departments of the District Assemblies present, as well as technical staff from Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC), representative of the traditional authorities, assembly members and some opinion leaders in the Bekwai Municipality.
The three districts namely Bosomtwe, Akrofuom and Adansi Asokwa District Assemblies together with Bekwai Municipal Assembly took turns to present their Composite Budget spanning from 2023 to 2026 Budget years.
Each Presentation was followed by questions and answers session where the team from the ARCC as well as the people present ask questions pertaining to the Presentation while the staff of the Assemblies respond to them.
The technical team from the ARCC was generally impressed with the conduct of the program as well as the output of the Budget Units of the Assemblies.
