The Municipal Director of Agriculture advised farmers to keep proper records of their farming activities to enable them to determine whether or not they are making profit. This was said at the launch of Community Farming Support Project driven by AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine.
Speaking at the launch, the Municipal Director of Agriculture, Mr. Emmanuel Mensah emphasized the importance of keeping records of every item received by the 150 beneficiaries, such as fertilizers, insecticides, and the cost of such inputs. He also advised farmers to keep track of the amount paid to laborers or workers employed on their farms.
