Bekwai – The Municipal Chief Executive of Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Salifu Issaka, took a decisive step towards promoting inclusivity on Wednesday, 24th December 2025, by presenting essential business kits to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the municipality. The initiative, held at the Bekwai Municipal Assembly Hall, aims to empower beneficiaries to improve their livelihoods, foster self-reliance, and challenge societal barriers that limit opportunities for PWDs.
Hon. Issaka emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to supporting all residents, highlighting that such interventions are crucial in creating an inclusive community where every individual can thrive. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, noting that the kits would significantly boost their entrepreneurial activities and economic independence.
